A large format art book demonstrating premium print quality to creative educators
Brother Stories was a promotional book of limited edition prints aimed at showcasing the quality of Brother’s A3 inkjet range to teachers and lecturers. Eight different aspects of the company’s products, history and services were brought to life through poetry and prose, and expressed through creative typography.
As well as devising the concept for the book I also designed the typographic layouts. To put eduction at the heart of the project, we partnered with the D&AD winning photography course at Blackburn College for a competition which asked students to photograph creative responses to the copy.
These were then printed using Brother inkjet printers and bound together in a coffee-table style book that not only showcased the quality of the print, but demonstrated that Brother is at the side of arts education.
