Social-first brand for my live research project on the future of creative talent
Through running a degree course I’ve become aware of the many challenges facing both the creative industry and creative educators. Agencies are grappling with a talent problem while universities are feeling the impact of through falling student numbers and course closures. The pandemic, diversity, and new technologies are also transforming the way we do things.
With the ever changing nature of the skills required by industry, how can education providers keep pace with what industry needs? And how can industry better support and engage with the next generation of talent?
I wanted to know more about the problems and barriers we face, so I decided to speak to the people dealing with them everyday; the graduates, employers, educators and recruiters.
I wanted it to live online so that everyone could hear the thoughts of those I speak to. To do this I launched the Pipeline in 2024, creating a digital first visual identity for the project.
To promote each interview on LinkedIn and Instagram, I post a video clips to highlight key topics and drive traffic to the main blog site, where visitors can enjoy the growing archive of articles.

As the project progresses I intend to develop the brand and use my findings to drive real change in the industry. The insights from these conversations will inform new ways to teach, hire and train that will help both industry and education at all levels.
